Michael A. Hoffman – Founder and partner.
Michael graduated from Kenyan College and Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1983 and the United States Supreme Court in 1994. Michael has devoted the past 20 years to strictly representing men in family law matters since he and partner, Douglas Wartell founded the American Divorce Association for Men (ADAM).



He is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Michigan Inter-Professional Association. He has been commended by the Better Business Bureau, ALS of Michigan, Children’s Wish Foundation and Metro Detroit Youth Day.



Douglas J. Wartell - Founder and partner.
Douglas graduated from the University of Michigan and Wayne State University School of Law. He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1980. Since founding the American Divorce Association for Men (ADAM) 20 years ago, Douglas and partner, Michael Hoffman, have aggressively advocated men's rights in family law matters.

Doug is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Michigan State Bar, and has been commended by the Better Business Bureau, ALS of Michigan, Children’s Wish Foundation and Metro Detroit Youth Day.

Having appeared on numerous television and radio shows (including “Bonds Tonight”) as leading experts in domestic law, these pioneers have also been the subject of several newspaper and magazine articles, including the cover stories, “Revolt of the Ex-Husbands” (The Detroit Free Press Magazine), and “In the Domestic Garden of Eden” (Benchmark Magazine).





Brent Bowyer – Owner and partner ADAM, Southeastern Michigan
Brent graduated from Western Michigan University and The John Marshall Law School (Chicago, IL). He is admitted to the Michigan Supreme Court, Federal District Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court, and is a member of the American Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and the Oakland County Bar Association.



Brent has practiced family law exclusively since 1996, litigating hundreds of divorce cases in that time. He has been a repeat guest on the Hardcore Mortgage and Business Show on 97.1 FM talk radio. Jon M. Midtgard – Owner and partner ADAM, Southeastern Michigan
Jon graduated from Michigan State University and the Detroit College of Law, and was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and Federal District Court. He has practiced family law exclusively since 1996, and has litigated hundreds of divorce cases in that time.



Jon is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, as well as the Oakland County Bar Association for which he has served on the Family Court Committee, American Inns of Court, Law Day Committee, and has participated in Bench/Bar conferences relative to family law. He is also a member of the Michigan Inter-Professional Association.

Jon was a recent guest on the Michigan syndicated news talk radio show, WJIM AM 1240 with Michael Patrick Shiels. He is a repeat guest on the Hardcore Mortgage and Business Show on 97.1 FM, and he was a commentator on 'Due Process' WDIV Channel 4 Detroit.
